PACIFIC ROAD HOUSE

Pacific Road House is a serene and magical house set high up on the hill overlooking the Palm Beach Lighthouse with views beyond to the central coast and over Pittwater.

Interiors by Sydney design team Greg Natale Design, this Harry Seidleresque 3 bedroom house, built in the 1950’s, is filled with natural light and furnished beautifully, luxuriously and comfortably. The beach house exudes charm and style with a unique mix of retro classics and imported interior fabrics, it is the perfect retreat for those of us who need to getaway for a few days and prefer the privacy of a residence.

The Palm Beach address suits this properties allure, glamorous and a little bit Hollywood Hills (but with a better view!). It has three bedrooms, a study / TV room, a functional open plan gourmet kitchen and a sitting and dining room that opens up out onto a terrace the width of the house. There is an additional outdoor eating / BBQ area surrounded by a bamboo screen which is perfect for an afternoon cocktail and getting out of the sun.

Pacific Road House is sophisticated and perfectly relaxing; it retains the beach house feel without compromising the design element that Belle Magazine featured in its 2008 special renovation issue. With a backdrop of fresh white, tempered by dark timbers and natural weaves, the interior palette reflects the colours of its coastal surroundings. The renovated house has retained the architectural merits of the 50s; with the décor boasting indoor and outdoor classics ordered for decadent lounging and coastal luxury. The major highlight is the magnificent north-easterly view which changes colour depending on the light and the seasons.

The huge balcony features local sandstone and desirable sun lounges - perfect for dining under the sun or stars. Pacific Road House has what it takes for a perfect Palmie retreat and you will find it hard to leave once settled in, however, if the surf and sand beckons there is a lovely stroll down through bushland paths to the Palm Beach ocean pool, sandy beach, surf, cafes and restaurants – approx 8 minutes.
