MACKEREL BEACHFRONT

Mackerel beach is situated on the western foreshore of
the northern beaches of Sydney. A 1 hour drive from the centre of the city of
Sydney and a regular bus service which takes a little longer. The area is
bounded by National Park on three sides and an excellent, safe swimming beach
on the eastern shore. Directly opposite Palm Beach, Mackerel has no cars, shops
or public facilities, tank water only. Access is by a ferry which leaves Palm
Beach on the hour, a five minute water taxi ride or a barge which will land
your luggage and chattels directly on to the beach in front of the house.

Accommodation and facilities:

The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There
is a large open plan living area, modern cooking equipment in the kitchen and
pantry, two dish washers to ease the cleaning burden, state of the art washing
and drying machines, two barbecues with comfortable out door furniture - one on
the grass by the beach and one on the verandah looking over the water.
