The Sandcastle is a stylish family house with large back garden minutes from the beach in the highly sought after Freshwater Basin. 

From the Sandcastle, it’s an easy 300m flat walk to the golden sands of Freshie Beach (the birthplace of Australian surfing) and 500m to the village cafes, boutiques, yoga studio, beauty salon, supermarket and delicatessen.  The first-class Pilu Restaurant and the locals’ favourite pub, the Harbord Beach Hotel, are within an easy walk.

The home is private and quiet, set amongst landscaped lush gardens.  The floor plan is generous and designed around easy living.  On entering the Sandcastle, there are formal living and dining rooms followed by a fabulous family area with casual lounge, dining and modern kitchen all together.  From here, glass doors open onto the sun-drenched courtyard, bbq and expansive back garden.  Perfect to watch over little ones at play or the boys having an innings of cricket!  There is also a cubby house, slippery dip, enclosed trampoline and swing and tyre set. The courtyard has an automatic awning providing shade when needed.  This can be retracted at night for dining under the stars.

On the second level there is another lounge/games room with tv and study.  Ideal for teenagers or young children needing their own space.  The main bedroom overlooks the garden and enjoys a walk in robe and full ensuite bathroom.  There are 3 other bedrooms of which 2 have single beds and another with a queen bed.  There is also a large full main bathroom and separate toilet.

The house is air conditioned with foxtel, internet and computer facilities.  There is also a full laundry and double garage with internal access. 

Given it’s proximity to the beach, the Sandcastle is a perfect place for the family to enjoy a stylish but easy break near the Freshwater waves!  Available over Summer.
